Bellevue-based Formotus, Inc., provider of mobile business data software + services, today announced that Adriana Neagu, Formotus Co-Founder/CTO, was named a Finalist for the prestigious 4th Annual Stevie Awards for Women in Business, presented by Infiniti. The awards program, which received more than 800 entries in 2007, honors top women executives, entrepreneurs and the companies they lead. Neagu was named a Finalist in the Technology Innovator of the Year category for her pioneering work in the mobile business applications market.

Being named a Finalist in The Stevie Awards for Women in Business is an important achievement, said Michael Gallagher, president of The Stevie Awards. It means that independent business executives have agreed that the nominee is worthy of recognition. We congratulate all of the Finalists on their achievement and wish them well in the competition.

Neagu is the inventor of FormoPublish services, which leverage Microsoft Office to allow non-technical users to click-and-deploy powerful and secure mobile applications over-the-air (OTA) to Microsoft Windows Mobile® devices. Her product development accomplishments have advanced the data collection industry by allowing businesses to deploy--in a matter of hours--custom mobile applications that previously took months to develop. Neagus ground-breaking software + services make it easier than ever for businesses to rapidly deploy the mobile data applications their workers need to be effective, productive and competitive in the field. Earlier this year, InfoWorld magazine recognized Neagu as a Finalist for its CTO 25 Awards.

Ive dedicated my career to designing the products that organizations need to quickly and cost-effectively collect business data, said Adriana Neagu, Formotus Co-Founder/CTO. And Im particularly excited about our latest creation, FormoPublish, which puts valuable business data into the hands of a mobile workforce. So its truly an honor to be recognized as a technology innovator by peers and distinguished industry judges on The Stevie Awards panel.

Winners will be announced during a gala event at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas on Monday, November 12. Details about The Stevie Awards for Women in Business are available at www.stevieawards.com/women.
